I LOVE this website, and plan to use it quite a bit this next school year. There are planners, gradebooks, attendance records, calendars, GPA calculators, lessons in many different subjects, etc. You could spend an entire day going through this website and wouldn't get through it all!

This is a cool website that teaches how thing work and are made. They have curricular units, lesson plans, videos, follow up, links, etc. You can search by subject or just browse through the list of subjects. Stuff for K-12.

This is an amazing painting of 103 people that changed the world! You scroll over it to see the names of the people. If you click on them it will bring you to information on them. Be sure to scroll right and down as it's a huge painting.
Also, at the bottom you can click on a link that will bring you to a list of the people in the painting, the photo that they used when they painted them, and information on them.
We'll definitely be using this in school this year!

American Sign Language Browser

This site has been great help in teaching my kids, and myself sign language. It gives you an actual video of the sign so you can see what it should look like.

This site has many different areas that they cover. They are geared more for public school teachers, but homeschoolers can use the resources also. They call themselves "The Educator's Best Friend". You can scroll down towards the bottom and find the "Mini Site Guide", which has lists of the various areas and resources. I like the Lesson Plans and Worksheet Library.

My first posted site is Khan Academy. It has 800+ videos on YouTube that will teach you math! No more trying to figure out algebra again, lol. I don't know about you, but that was at least 20 years ago for me, lol. My kids are still young but it's only a few years away. Enjoy!

This is my new blog :o) As I meander through homeschooling life, I come across tons of homeschool and other sites with helpful info and games. I had been listing them on my other blog but the list is getting longer and longer. This way, I can highlight them better and add more info. It is also easier just to focus on the links and nothing else.
